This crown was made for the coronation of Queen Mary as the consort of King George V in 1911.

Set entirely with diamonds, it also originally contained the famous Koh-i-Noor diamond, which was removed after the death of King George V, and set in the crown of Queen Elizabeth, the Queen Mother. It can be worn with the arches removed, and it was indeed worn this way when Queen Mary attended the Coronation of her son, King George VI in 1937.

This miniature recreation crown is cast in fine english pewter, highly polished then adorned with Bohemian Crystals.
