The Crown of Eric of Sweden
Eric XIV was the eldest son and successor of Gustave Wasa. Founder of the Swedish Dynasty, Eric became King of Sweden in 1560, commissioning a wonderful new crown for his coronation.
After a disastrous reign, he was deposed in 1569, and poisoned in 1577 by his brothers. The crown has been used for the coronations of all Swedish monarchs since.
