The Sword of Charlemagne was wielded by Emperor Charlemagne, potentially the most powerful ruler in history after the fall of the Roman Empire. The sword was forged around 802 AD, and it took 3 years to complete. Later after the Death of Emperor Charlemagne, it was used in the coronation of French kings, alongside the French Crown Jewels. This pocket-sized piece of history is hand cast in lead-free pewter and comes in a display case.
