Townshend Emerald Crystal Ring: This ring forms part of a collection of 154 gems bequeathed to the V&A museum by the Reverend Chauncy Hare Townshend, a cleric and poet. The original ring is made with a square emerald and a border of brilliant-cut diamonds, set in gold, about 1850.
