"Information On The Original Coin:
The Charles I Crown is a coin minted during the early reign of Charles I. It was produced at the Tower of London. The coin's design and inscriptions are significant and speak to the turbulent times and challenges faced by King Charles I, especially during the Civil War that commenced in 1640. Subsequent to the outbreak of the war, Royalist mints were set up in various towns across the West and North of England. The coin bears the inscription ""CAROLVS D G MAG BR FR ET HI REX"", which translates to ""Charles by the grace of God King of Great Britain France and Ireland"". The reverse of the coin has the phrase ""CVLTORES SVI DEVS PROTEGIT"", which means ""God protects His worshippers"".

Information On The Coins Commissioner:
King Charles I was the second of three children, but the only one to survive into adulthood, of King James I. Upon the death of his father in 1625, Charles I ascended to the thrones of both England and Scotland. His reign was marked by intense political strife and conflicts, culminating in the Civil War that began in 1642. By 1647, King Charles I had been defeated in the war and subsequently imprisoned at Carisbrooke Castle located on the Isle of Wight. In a tragic turn of events, King Charles I was moved to London in 1649, where he was tried, condemned, and subsequently executed.
