Lace Leaf Cufflinks

Inspired from the front part of lace bodice by Thomas Lester of Bedfordshire, England between 1865-1875. He was one of the leading figures in the English hand-made lace industry. The ferm pattern is typical of his work and it would have been intended to be worn over a contrasting coloured silk, setting its pattern into clear relief.
