Russian Zig-Zag Necklace

Inspired by a Russian bracelet from an unknown jeweller between 1861-1900, the original wqas set with diamonds and rubies in a gold framework. By the 1850s bracelets had become an indispensible accessory and in England the "daytime " bracelet had become "the main feature of national dress" as was declared by the French connoisseur Edmond Joly de Bammeville.
